KALAMATA PDO*

Brownish black to dark purple in color, Kalamata Olives PDO are almond-shaped and juicy with an extraordinary rich fruity flavor. They are the most famous table olives in the Mediterranean basin. They are produced in the region of Kalamata in the prefecture of Messinia, in Southern Greece. They are naturally sun-ripened on the tree before harvested by hand to protect their sensitive flesh. No coloring or preservatives are added during the process.
Available in brine or in olive oil, whole, pitted, sliced

BLACK OLIVES (CONSERVOLEA)

Widely known as Amfissa olives. They are produced in many regions all around Greece. They have a large, roundish fruit with original black color. Black olives are the richest in nutritional value, thanks to their natural maturation. Very rich aroma and flavor.
Available in brine, in olive oil, pitted, sliced.

CHALKIDIKI PDO* GREEN OLIVES


Hellenic Crops INC is certified by the Ministry of Agriculture with "AGROCERT" for PDO Chalkidikis Olives.These olives are large, pale green, firm in texture, in oval shape.Crispy olives with a mild salty taste, light bitter. They are collected while young so they maintain their slight acidic flavor.Excellent table olives, ideal to be stuffed with peppers, pickles, cheese etc.
The Chalkidiki Olives variety grow mainly in the area of Chalkidiki, in Northern Greece.

Available in whole, pitted, sliced, stuffed (with pepper, jalapeno, cheese, garlic, almond, cucmber pickle)

GREEN OLIVES

CRACKED OLIVES


Firm, variety in size (from small to large), green olives. They are cracked to allow the fruit absorb the marinades and olive oil. Kept and preserved in olive oil with lemon slices. Ideal table olives, especially for salads.

PLUM OLIVES


They are called “plum” olives because of their big cylindrical size. They are also called “donkey -olives”. These olives have the biggest size among all other greek olives. They are produced mainly in southern Greece. Excellent in taste, firm in texture, they are processed naturally by salt.

THASSOS THROUMPES (WRINKED)


Wrinkled deep black small size olives. Throumpes olives obtain their wrinked texture after being put in layers of dry sea salt. They are collected pretty mature, so they lose their bitterness and achieve a unique taste. Very rich in oil content. They are produced in many regions in Greece, primarily in Thassos island.

CHALKIDIKI THROUMPES (WRINKLED)


Wrinkled deep black olives with bigger fruit than the “Thassos Throumpes”. These olives obtain their wrinkled texture after being put in layers of dry sea salt. They are collected pretty mature, so they lose their bitterness and achieve a unique taste. Very rich in oil content. They are produced in many regions in Greece, primarily in Chalkidiki, in Northern Greece.
